Have you ever Read the Bible?

No, seriously - we mean, have you ever really read the Bible? All the way through, cover to cover? Lots of surprising people think that you should.

Richard Dawkins, the famous scientist and outspoken atheist thinks that everyone should read the bible. Pen and Teller think that you should read the Bible.

Why do you suppose these Atheists want you to read the Bible? Surely that’s the exact opposite of what they would want?

We are about to start a Challenge. We are going to read the Christian Bible from cover to cover in a year. A few chapters a week, page by page. No special guides, not working from any set study guide. Just reading the Bible and taking it at face value.

What will happen? Will the Atheists find truth and have to reconsider their position? Will Christians be strengthened, or will they find, as many atheists have, that there is nothing which will turn you into an Atheist faster than reading the Bible?
